Application for approval and reimbursement of costs for sabbatical study leave: notes, form

To have oversight of, and to support, all Area Synod Pastoral Committees
To exercise oversight of all ministers
To determine matters of policy as necessary and bring recommendations to Synod for approval
To be responsible to Synod for the development of a deployment policy, taking account of Assembly targets, and for reviewing and endorsing (if appropriate) any applications for Church Related Community Worker and/or Special Category Minister posts

To have oversight of the ‘Training for Learning and Serving' (TLS) programme, 'TLS Lite' and other elders and lay training.
To make arrangements for the process of ministerial accompanied self-appraisal.
