This event is for Church Safeguarding Coordinators and Deputy Safeguarding Coordinators in Wessex Synod. The morning session this year will look at adult safeguarding and case studies. The afternoon session will be led by Julian Whiting on supporting survivors. Julian Whiting is a freelance business development specialist, who among other things is a retired Metropolitan Police officer which included a short stint at Buckingham Palace. He has worked in the voluntary sector with charities supporting children and those parenting alone. He is passionate about truth and justice which stems from his own lived experience of abuse in a faith setting.
