We seek to appoint a professional HR specialist to the role of
LAY EMPLOYMENT ADVISER
14 hours per week £33,000 pa (pro rata)
The principal duties include advising and liaising with lay and ordained Church Officers to enable and implement good employment practice, keeping accurate and up-to-date records and delivering training sessions to small groups.
The postholder will work from home and will be provided with a laptop and phone.
Part-time 14 hours per week spread over 3 days with some flexibility to work evenings and weekends occasionally.
The ability to travel around the District and Synod is essential, as is an Enhanced DBS check.
